We are excited to confirm two of our speakers for the Social Media Communications Summit to be held Oct. 11 at the school. Jennifer Moss is founder of Spark Plug Consulting, an integrated marketing firm in Waterloo. Jennifer’s experience spans 13 years – her career began in television at TVO in Toronto. In 2003, she left for California where she spent close to nine years in the marketing and public relations industry. She ran the publicity department at Cinequest Films and then advanced to take a role in Public Relations and Social Media at Robert Half International until she moved back to Waterloo. Jennifer will speak about Twitter and Blogging in the advertising and public relations fields.
Shaminda Attygalle is an emerging digital marketer and the host of a podcast called “The Digital Marketing Lounge.” He is passionate about all things digital – he wants to know when we will use Facebook to buy groceries and when we will stop carrying wallets! Shum will speak about Foursquare, a location-based service used by businesses to connect with their target markets.
